Training in Professional Occupation

Addressed to workers or unemployed. The aim is to help them to improve their professional competences. There is a wide offer of training courses (many economic sectors). They even offer the possibility of doing learning practices at companies or improvement stays abroad.

All these actions are carried out by Centres d'Innovació i Formació Ocupacional (CIFO), the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya and public or private centres.

With the objective of facilitating the consultation of courses, the SOC has a searcher where you can search the course that better fits to your needs. In the searcher you will find:

• Professional Training: FP.cat
• Continuous training, thought for active working persons who want to broaden knowledge.

The catalog of courses of the SOC, addressed to unemployed workers as well as to employed ones, is characterized by offering trainings of character theoretic and practical in all the economical sectors of the job market, giving priority to those areas with more added value (the new technologies, the design, the TIC, the services to the companies, the alternative energies, the respectful management of the environment, etc.).
