THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS

This document refers to the public employment offer of the different organisms, from local administrations, Regional Governments, Provincial Councils, to the National Government and even the European Union.

In order to obtain information we have provided you with links to the different administrations.

The public administration bodies select their personnel, both civil servants and other workers, in accordance with their needs and through a system of admission exams in which the principles of the constitution, equality, merit and capacity are guaranteed.

The civil servants are grouped together into departments with homogeneous functions to be carried out. Within these groups, depending on the specialisation of the work, there can be a further ranking. These groups and levels are made up of different subgroups defined by the qualifications called for in order to be admitted:

• Group A: doctorate, university graduate or equivalent.
• Group B: first cycle university diploma, third grade professional training or equivalent.
• Group C: upper high school graduation, second grade professional training or equivalent.
• Group D: high school graduation, first grade professional training or equivalent.
• Group E: basic school leaving certificate.

The convocations are always announced in the official bulletins of the government and regional governments.
