"Suma't"

"Suma't" is an innovative program of the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC) that combines actions of orientation, training and acquisition of professional experience in companies. It is a matter of offering adapted training to find a work through the learning of practical professions with a posterior contract in a company.

Target groups

This program is addressed to those persons who fulfill the following requirements:

• Being in situation of unemployment
• Being major of 18 years and minor of 25
• Not having finished the Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO)
• Being registered in the Work Office as a demanding person of employment not occupied (DONO)

Besides, the interested persons will have to communicate to their Work Office that want to take part in this program so that they can derive it in the town council and/or local entity that corresponds to them.

Contents of the program

The youngsters who take part in it will receive :

• Tutoring and personalized advice so that them identify and develop their resources and their competences
• Training:
• Formative action in key competences (languages, digital competences, social and civic competences, in mathematics...) for a duration of 100 hours. .
• Professional training necessary for the suitable development of a determinate job for a duration of 288 hours

The participant persons will have to preregister in the Open Institute of Catalonia so that they can attain the training to obtain the title from compulsory secondary education.

In some cases,

• Professional experience in companies through contract for the training for a minimum duration of 6 months
