Benefit for non-community foreign workers to return to their country of origin
Definition
This benefit consists of making the accumulated payment in advance of the contributory benefit for unemployment to which non-community foreign workers have the right and can apply for.
Beneficiaries
The beneficiaries must be foreign workers from a country that has signed a bilateral agreement in questions of Social Security with Spain, in the case where they decide to return to their country of origin, on the condition they fulfil the requisites and conditions established to obtain this benefit.
Countries with agreements
Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Russian Federation, Philippines, Morocco, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Presentation of applications
At your Work Office from 8:15 am to 1.30 pm
Payment
The payment is made in two instalments:
- 40% of the benefit while residing in Spain, once the right has been recognised;
- the other 60% in your country of origin.
