Ongoing income for placement

Definition

Ongoing income for placement is aimed at groups with income of less than 75% the National Minimum Wage, who find it particularly difficult to find work and are in a situation of economic need. The programme includes measures to help them join the labour market.

Requisites

• Registration as a jobseeker (How do I register?).
• Long-term unemployed aged over 45
• Returning emigrants aged over 45
• Victims of violence against women or domestic violence
• Disabled persons

Documentation to present

To be able to accede to the Active Income Insertion programme the documentation listed below must be presented::

• Official model of application.
  The printed application form includes: the tax declaration of the applicant and family members who live with them or for who they are responsible, the bank transfer form, the commitment of activity and the authorisation of request for information from the AEAT (Tax Office). The application must state who the beneficiary or otherwise is of the non-contributory disability pension and, in its case, the amount of the pension.
• I.D. of the applicant and the Document family members who live with them or for who they are responsible and who feature in the application (they only need to be shown to check the data):
  • Citizens of the Spanish state: National Identity Card (DNI)
  • Foreigners resident in Spain: foreigners identity card or identifying document of their country of origin if they are from the EU, the European Economic Space or Switzerland
• Family book or equivalent document in the case of foreigners. If the applicant declares a disabled child aged over 26, they must present a certificate of disablement and recognition of the degree of disablement issued by the INSS, by IMSERSO or by the competent organism of the autonomous community.

Only in the case of acceding to the programme due to the condition of person with disability or with a degree equal or higher than 33% or due to a disability that represents a decrease in occupational capacity of the same percentage, they must present a certificate of disability issued by the competent public administration.

The condition of disabled person is accredited by means of the following documents:

• Resolution or certificate issued by the Institute of the Elderly and Social Services (IMSERSO) or the competent body of the autonomous community.
• Resolution of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) that recognises the condition of pensioner due to permanent total disability, absolute and large-scale disability.
• Resolution of the Ministry of Economics and Tax or of the Ministry of Defence that recognises a retirement pension due to permanent disability or unsuitability for service.

In the case of acceding to the programme for the condition of emigrant worker, they must present the certificate issued by the Employment Area of the Government offices or sub-offices in each province.

In the case of acceding to the programme as a victim of violence against women or victim of domestic violence, they must accredit the condition presenting the judicial sentence, the order of judicial protection, the report of the fiscal ministry or the report of social services of the competent public administration (autonomous regional or local) or shelter, in which it is stated that the person receives assistance for this condition.

Presentation of applications

15 working days subsequent to the last day upon which entitlement was acquired (Sundays and public holidays and holidays excluded).

Duration of the benefit

A maximum of 11 months

Amount received

80% of IPREM (the reference indicator for determining social benefits).
