Actions of the occupational guidance network: personal itineraries of insertion and guidance and support programmes in the insertion of groups of greater vulnerability

Official notification 2011

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC) through this official notification promotes the awarding of subsidies for actions in the occupational guidance network.

• Personal itineraries of insertion (Line A)
• Guidance and support programmes in the insertion of groups of greater vulnerability (Line B)

Objective of the official notification

• Line A - Personal itineraries of insertion: actions through information, guidance or other procedures help improve the position in the job market of salaried jobseekers and/or those that through information, guidance, motivation, assessment or other procedures help the detection and invigoration of self-employment initiatives among jobseekers.
• Line B - Guidance and support programmes in the insertion of groups of greater vulnerability: integrated insertion actions that involve the development of personalised itineraries through occupational guidance, the improvement in personal and professional skills and techniques to favour the employability of people in a vulnerable situation attending to their characteristics and needs. They also include the promotion of actions of business prospection and support and follow-up tasks in labour insertion.

Beneficiary entities

• Line A- Personal itineraries of insertion: legally standing non-profit public or private bodies, except local entities, their autonomous organisms and dependent or linked entities.
• Line B - Guidance and support programmes in the insertion of groups of greater vulnerability: legally standing non-profit public or private bodies that accredit experience in undertaking actions aimed at accompanying unemployed jobseekers from the group to which the programme is addressed in processes of labour insertion by self-employment or salaried employment.

Target groups

• Line A - Personal itineraries of insertion: unemployed jobseekers who are registered at the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya.
• Line B - Guidance and support programmes in the insertion of groups of greater vulnerability: unemployed jobseekers, preferably people receiving benefits, from groups targeted as priority in the annual definition of the National Plan for Employment Action, such as disabled people, immigrants, women with problems of labour integrations, young people at risk of social exclusion social as well as those receiving unemployment benefit or active insertion income, and of minimum insertion income.

Time period and realisation of the actions

• Line A - Personal itineraries of insertion: the maximum period of realisation of the actions will be the 31 December 2011.
• Line B - Guidance and support programmes in the insertion of groups of greater vulnerability: the subsidy period may be from the 1 January 2011 until the 31 December 2011. The actions must be started within the budgetary year and in any case, in the maximum time period of two months from the notification of the awarding of the subsidy, and must end, at the latest, on the 31 December 2011. The actions of professionalising training may only be undertaken from the moment in which the entity possess the corresponding resolution of award.

Funding

• Line A - Personal itineraries of insertion: 6,800,000 euros.
• Line B - Guidance and support programmes in the insertion of groups of greater vulnerability: 8,960,000 euros.
