Innovative Projects 2008

Official notification 2008

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya, through this official notification, promotes innovative, integral and sustainable projects that must incorporate improvements in opportunities for employment and quality of the jobs, territorial balance and competitiveness of the companies.

The aim of these Innovative Projects is to improve the quality of employment in Catalonia with a bearing on the stability of employment, the level of qualification of people, health and safety at work, equal opportunities and the integration into the labour market of groups with special difficulties.

These projects must be identified with the following strategic lines:

• Equal opportunities at work
• Improvement in professional skills
• Transformation of the productive model and improvement in competitiveness
• Promotion of trans-national and interregional cooperation
• Improvement of employability and boosting of the labour insertion processes

Beneficiaries of the subsidy

Public or private companies that undertake actions for the improvement of employment in Catalonia.

Target groups

According to the programmes of each project, different groups will be selected, some of them as priorities, such as: women who can work, young people, disabled people, people aged over 45, people with low qualifications at risk of social exclusion.

41,500,000 euros from the European Social Fund

Regulation

• Order TRE/337/2008, of the 10 July, which establishes the rules for subsidies for innovative programmes co-funded by the European Social Fund and opens the official notification for 2008.
