Presentation of the Net of Public Orientation of Catalunya

Nearly a hundred advisers of all the territory attend the act

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya has presented this November, the Net of Public Orientation of Catalunya to the entities that at present are a referent of the orientation and the work rehabilitation in the territory, in an act presided over by the Work Counselor, Mar Serna.

The director of the Occupational Net, Mireia Ràfols, has presented the aims of this Net with which it is intended to define a model of service of orientation of integrator character in Catalunya, based on the concentration of the different economic agents, social and territorial and, this way, to set the bases for an authentic work of proximity among the different agents.

Later, a round table has been carried out, with exposures of experiences already applications within the framework of this Net.

8th Conference of the "Consell Català de Formació Professional"

They will take place on the 18 anf 19 November at the WTC in Barcelona

The "Consell Català de Formació Professional" dedicates its VIII Conference to discussing and analyzing the FP (Professional Training) under the title "Qualificació i Acreditació: Models Europeus", going deep into the analysis of these two concepts, its implementation and complementariness, from a European perspective.

This eighth edition will be celebrated on the 18 and 19 of November in the World Trade Center of Barcelona.

Representatives of organizations linked to the professional training of five states of the European Union will set forth their knowledge and experiences in relation to how the qualification of the persons and the accreditation of competences are developed in their countries. Moreover, the representatives of the different organizations and entities who are part of this Council will address the speakers, with the intention of finding examples that they can be of utility to our system.

It will also be presented several experiences that are being carried out in the area of the professional training in Catalonia, how they are the Plan FP.Cat and Qualica't Program, as well as an example of entrepreneurial cooperation and an approach to the current FP at a distance .

"Fem Xarxa": Day about local economic development in Catalonia

More than 300 persons members of the Net attended to the event

The objective of the day -celebrated on the 22 of September in Barcelona - has been to introduce the Net of agents of occupation and local development that has as a purpose to improve the rendering of services that the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya offers in the offices of economical promotion and local development of the local entities of Catalonia, in order to optimize the work that these develop in the Catalan territory.

During the day, it has been considered closed the first edition of the postgraduate course Local Economic Development, one of the first products of the Net of AODL.

I Postgraduate Course in Local Economic Development

The postgraduate course will be imparted since the 21st January until the 8th July 2010

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya together with the Col·legi de Politòlegs i Sociòlegs de Catalunya and the Department of Political Science and Public Law of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona organize the first edition of the Postgraduate Course in Local Economic Development.

The Postgraduate Course intends to give continuity to the initiatives of continued training that has carried out the SOC and the COLPIS in the last 5 years, and wants to offer a training of third cycle of quality that it allows to the technical staff of the local entities, as well as other professionals who dedicate themselves to the field of the local economic development and to those persons who want to initiate professionally into this field, to acquire the necessary competences to design and to intervene in processes that stimulate and foster the economic growth of the local companies, and favor like this the job creation, rent and wealth in order to improve the quality of life and the well-being of their populations .

The syllabus consists of 30 ECTS credits and it is divided into three modules: Introduction to the Local Economic Development, Tools for the Management of Programs and Projects of Local Economic Development and Personalized Itineraries. With this syllabus, the Postgraduate Course intends to offer a training of third cycle that allows the technical staff of the local entities to acquire the necessary competences to implement programs and actions related with the local development and the economical promotion, with a special attention in nail areas as they are the regeneration of the urban space, the promotion of the entrepreneurial productive activity and the job market. In this sense, the requirements specific to access are the following ones:

• Graduates and Qualified Persons that wish to broaden or to complete their formation in the area of the local economic development
• Other graduates with a professional experience in the field of the local development upper to 3 years

The postgraduate course will be imparted since the 21st January until the 8th July 2010.

7th Day of the "Consell Català de Formació Professional"

It will be celebrated the 19 and 20 November in the World Trade Center (Barcelona)

This year, with the title "La Formació Professional, una oportunitat en temps de canvi", the Consell Català de Formació Professional will dedicate its working days to discussing and analyzing the role of the FP in a society of speeded transformations and in permanent change, going deep into the young workers, the professionals and the economic world.

At the working day will attend representatives of several organizations that will set forth their knowledge and experiences about the mobility, the learning along the life and the competences for the employement, among other subjects.

European Summer University of Research for the Learning along the Life

Learning along the Life, the crisis and the regions

Which challenges does it bring up and which are the new opportunities that appear?

The Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya, together with the Department of Education, are members of the FREREF, net of European regions dedicated to the research in training along the life.

One of the more emblematic activities of the FREREF is the annual organization of the European Summer University of Research for Learning along the Life that this year is celebrated in Barcelona, on the 2, 3 and 4 September in the headquarters of CosmoCaixa.

The main subject matter of the lecture will deal about the capacities of the regional systems of training and employment to face the current economic crisis.

"Ocupació i Formació en Temps de Crisi"

It will be celebrated the next 29 April 2009 in the Auditori of Barcelona Activa

This international day, organized for the Fundació Inform, with the collaboration of the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya, of Barcelona Activa and of the association Europen/Pen International, wants to be a meeting point and of reflection on the current situation of the world of the training and the occupation and about the prospects of future.
