Occupational information for newly arrived workers

El Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya Service has taken part, jointly with other Departments of the Generalitat de Catalunya (autonomous government) and with the coordination of the Office for Immigration in the production of a DVD that, under the title of TREBALL (WORK), ), provides information about working in Catalonia, the different types of contract, registration as jobseekers and active policy programmes, among other matters.

This action is framed within the formative process of the future Law of Reception in Catalonia and forms part of the projects included in the Integral Reception Programme of the Citizenry and Immigration Plan 2005-2008 which contemplated the production of audiovisual material to support the reception of newly-arrived people in Catalonia..

You can consult the videos relating to work at:

As well as the work section, the collection is made up of a total of 6 DVDs that deal with Catalonia, housing and coexistence, health, education and social services.
