Change of administrative situation

The administrative situation is your state as a job seeker. There are three types of situations:

  • Registered: A job seeker is registered at the SOC in order to look for a job and enjoy of all the offered services.
  • Unsubscribed: : Someone who gets unsubscribed from the SOC as a job seeker because he/she hasn’t renewed the right to benefit or for other reasons.
  • Suspension: Temporary situation (training, illness...). During this situation it’s not necessary to renew the demand.

From unsubscription to register

Requirements:

  • Update of your right to benefit during the last 18 months.
  • Complete details to apply for a job offer.

From suspension to register

Suspension is allowed in the following cases:

  • family obligations,
  • temporary inability,
  • maternity, adoption or foster care,
  • hi-risk pregnancy,
  • medical court (pending),
  • protective custody (without intermediation).

From register to unsubscription

Voluntary redundancy and only in case of not receiving the unemployment benefits.

From suspension to unsubscription

This option is only allowed if you are not receiving the unemployment benefits and the unsubscription reasons are:

  • family obligations,
  • temporary inability,
  • maternity, adoption or foster care,
  • hi-risk pregnancy,
  • medical court (pending),
  • protective custody (without intermediation).
