  9. (TRAINING) As a Training Centre, what should be done to have it officially recognised?

To "officially recognise" a centre there must be a public document that explains the requisites of spaces, staffing and facilities, teachers, etc. The certificates of professionalism or training programmes of each speciality from the speciality file of the SPEE explains this material and staff provision. The website to download the text regarding certificates and programmes is:
    http://www.inem.es/inem/ciudadano/formacion_ocupa/especialidades/index.html

The centres/specialities/entities must be registered or placed on the census, fulfilling its role with the awarding of certificates of professionalism and other training programmes from the SPEE file.

    • Royal Decree 395/2007, of the 23 March, which regulates the professional training for work sub-system.
    • Order TAS/718/2008, de 7 de marzo, of the 7 March, which develops Royal Decree 395/2007, of the 23 March, which regulates the professional training for work sub-system in questions of training provided and establishes the rules for awarding public subsidies for their funding.
    • Order TRE/338/2008, of the 4 July, which approves the rules for subsidies relating to training provided primarily for unemployed workers that the Servei d'Ocupació de Catalunya promotes.

    There are currently:

    • Official notifications that require registration prior to the census for the specific speciality, as is the case of "training provided for the unemployed".
    • Official notifications that require prior registration of the entity to the census without to detail the specific speciality (PGS or PQPI, administrative contracting...)
    • Official notifications that do not require prior registration to the census, where the entity must show/give information regarding the compliance with the requisites with the presentation of the application or before starting up the training actions.

Since 2005, when an entity is registered on the census (that is the building with training facilities, and not the legally formed entity) specific specialities may be taught and so that future official notifications will require this prior registration.

If the notification is made with specialities that are not on the SPEE file (including the certificates) and does not have a programme officially recognised by a public institution, prior registration of this speciality is not required.
